How We Fund

Interact for Health considers projects for funding in three ways: through Requests for Proposals, through invitations to submit proposals and through grantee-initiated requests.

Requests for Proposals

Interact for Health awards competitive grants to improve health through Requests for Proposals. Organizations submit a proposal based on the requirements of the RFP. Interact for Health reviews the proposals and awards a limited number of grants to the organizations that best meet the requirements of the RFP or Request for Applicaitons.

See the Open Funding page for RFPs and RFAs being accepted at this time.

Invited Proposals

In special cases, Interact for Health will invite a limited number of organizations to submit proposals around a narrowly focused idea or issue.

Grantee-Initiated Requests

Interact for Health welcomes ideas from the community for projects and programs. The likelihood of being funded depends on how well the project corresponds to our priorities. If you have a project you are considering asking us to fund, our staff welcomes the opportunity to consult with you and clarify our criteria. Please contact a staff member in the priority area that best matches your suggestion:

  • Mental Health and Well-being
  • Building Community Power
    • Julian Collins, Senior Program Manager of Community Engagement (Urban/Suburban)
  • Policy and Systems Change

Inquiries regarding other topics can be shared with our staff by using this online form.
